This one-of-a-kind garment features asymmetrical architecture, including a slanted button-down closure designed to transition effortlessly from a sophisticated tunic to a lightweight jacket. The design is a textural journey, showcasing many signature processes of the artist through a complex mix of fabrics and meticulously executed hand-detailing. Its unique, hand-painted watercolor design flows across the comfortable, relaxed silhouette. An unusual modern collar and a signature faux pocket provide conceptual, artsy detailing that elevates the piece into a true wearable work of art. Every inch reveals the amount of detailed work involved, resulting in a unique design that is as comfortable as it is avant-garde. The mixed fabrics represent a trip through natural fibers, from fine silk to silk crepe, long-staple cotton and European flax linen. Very brief cold water hand wash, a few drops of mild detergent, always separately, spin in washer and dry on medium, or air dry and finish in dryer to soften. Also can be dry cleaned by mild methods, or dry cleaned in dryer at home with a store-bought kit. Do not use stain removers, spot treaters or bleach pens. Contact us for any advice, if needed.
All garments arrive to you freshly cleaned, unlike regular store-bought items, and are ready to wear.
Dry-cleaning is ok on most items but only if gentle methods are used and the cleaners are familiar with cleaning hand-painted delicate fabrics.
To freshen up any item that doesn’t need deep cleaning simply mist it with a water spray and put in the dryer on medium heat for about 15 min.
All garments can be hand washed. Wash each item separately, cold water only, minimal amount of detergent, and as briefly as possible, no soaking. The wash can be followed by a spin in the washer and dried on medium heat until dry. Knits should be hung-dried and when dry, finished in the dryer for a few minutes to soften.
Hand-pressing may be necessary after the wash and dry to straighten out the seams and edges which tend to pucker or curl on natural fabrics.
Some hand-dyed items may leak a bit of color during the washing, that is normal and will not affect the item. Using liquid softener during the wash will minimize any color leaking.
